Gate Hoist

This gate hoist is for lifting spillway gates, tailrace gate and other gate of hydropower plant. The gate hoist is mainly used for hydraulic equipment transport, installation and maintenance of hydroelectric generating units, hoisting of floodgates, trash rack etc. The open winch gate hoist can be 2 types according to their different structures.

1. Fixed type hoist: winding type, rack type, chain type, screw type and hydraulic type;

2. Mobile type hoist: gantry type, semi-gantry type, bridge and trolley type;

Features of Gate Hoist:

1. The hoisting direction is vertical along the floodgate groove, moving up and down, or rotating the gate around the hinge.

2. The load of gate hoist is related to the gate opening and flowing water pressure.

3. For large span floodgates, users need to use hoists with 2 lifting points working synchronously.

4. Large capacity, low speed hoisting and running, low work duty, usually not more 4m/min, for some special hoisting, speed can be 10-14m/min.

Main Parameters:

Rated hoisting weight, hoisting height, working speed and span.

1. Rated hoisting weight: including the sling weight.

2. Hoisting height: the hoisting distance between the lowest position to the highest position below sling.
