Crane Wire Rope

Crane wire rope is applicable for overhead cranes, gantry cranes, container cranes, shore cranes, crawler cranes, offshore fixed cranes, pile drivers, ship unloader cranes, etc. Crane wire rope is constituted by steel wire, rope core and grease.

Features of Crane Wire Rope:

1. Application scope: Lifting, towing, straining and load bearing.

2. High strength with more than 1770Mpa tensile strength, large capacity, strong overload capacity, good elasticity, impact resistance and light self-weight.

3. It has good flexibility, stable operation and low noise during high-speed movement. Because it needs to be wound on multiple layers on the reel, it should have good bending fatigue performance.

4. It is reliable in work and will not break suddenly. This is a necessary condition for lifting and safe work.

According to the above characteristics, we generally recommend that customers wire-contact wire ropes, such as 6*36SW. In special occasions, we recommend customers 8*36SW or compacted wire ropes.
